PHONITURA / PEOPLE

Design, engineering
and production

Phonitura brings design, engineering and production together to create sound-absorbing products for architectural interiors.

Who are we?

PHONITURA brings architects, industrial designers and acoustic specialists together around a shared brief: make room acoustic treatment a considered part of the interior.

In-house production supports the development of acoustic products for specific project requirements, from the initial form to the agreed production specification.

What do we do?

We manufacture sound-absorbing panels and architectural elements using Archiphonic PET acoustic felt. The material introduces porous sound absorption into wall, ceiling and freestanding designs.

Our range is intended for residential, workplace, hospitality, educational and public interiors where reflected sound and reverberation need attention.

For bespoke projects, we work with architects and interior designers to coordinate the geometry, finish and installation requirements.

Our mission

Make acoustic comfort part of the design brief. We develop products whose sound-absorbing function and visual form work together within the room.

Our goals

  • Develop acoustic products with a clear function and considered form.
  • Coordinate treatment with the architect’s concept and the room’s intended use.
  • Explore new forms and practical uses for PET acoustic felt.
  • Support comfortable conversation through appropriate room acoustic treatment.
  • Review the material, installation and documentation requirements of each project.

Let’s shape
the sound

Tell us how the room is used, its approximate area and where reflected sound is a problem. We will discuss a suitable product family and the next assessment step.

PROJECT SUPPORT

Bring acoustic comfort into your project.

Send a floor plan or visualisation, the room use and your acoustic brief. We will discuss suitable product families, indicative coverage and the next specification step.

Try “acoustic lights”, “RT60” or a product name.
